How busy is Knott's Berry Farm?

Like most theme parks, Knott's Berry Farm is busier on Fridays and weekends, as well as on holidays and in the summer. Summer crowds can see ride wait times that are hours long, while weekday mornings can see no waits on even the most popular rides.

In general, the best time to visit Knott's Berry Farm to avoid crowds is on a weekday morning to mid afternoon. On weekends, the park is the least busy when it opens until about 11am or noon.

How many acres is Knott's Berry Farm?

Knott's Berry Farm is 57 acres. It's a very manageable theme park, where guests can find themselves circling the park more than once without getting exhausted.

Walter Knott and his family began their berry farm in Buena Park in 1921.

In 1927, the family opened a permanent Berry Market and Tea Room, which would later become the popular Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant.

In 1939, the family grew the restaurant and added a gift shop.

In 1940, the Knott family began to construct Ghost Town to entertain their guests who were mainly coming for the restaurant.

In 1968, the Knott family enclosed their attractions and began to charge a one-dollar entrance fee, thus beginning the new era of Knott's Berry Farm.

Do you have to pay for parking at Knott's Berry Farm?

Yes, parking at the official lots at Knott's Berry Farm costs $20 per car per day.

Tickets & Annual Passes

Can you buy Knott's Berry Farm tickets at the door?

Yes! Both daily tickets and annual passes are available for purchase at the ticket booths at the entrance to the theme park.

How much are Knott's Berry Farm tickets?

Daily park tickets range from $54 to $99, with Fridays and weekends priced a little higher than weekdays.

Discounts are available for military family members, as well as for large groups.

Per the terms & conditions of purchasing a Knott's Berry Farm ticket or season pass, all ticket sales are final and nonrefundable.

Does Knott's Berry Farm have a military discount?

Yes! Military members and their families have a discount on single day admission to the park. The prices range from $53 to about $60 with prices slightly higher on Fridays and weekends.

How much are Knott's Berry Farm annual passes?

Season passes range from about $160 for the Regular pass to about $240 for the Platinum Season Pass.

Food & Drinks

Does Knott's Berry Farm have a dining plan?

Yes! Knott's Berry Farm offers an All Day Dining Plan, an All Season Dining Plan, a Season Pass Drink Plan, and an All Season Souvenir Bottle.

The All Day Dining Plan is $31.99 plus taxes and fees and allows guests to get a meal at participating restaurants every 90 minutes.

The All Season Dining Plan starts at $145 plus taxes and fees and allows guests to dine up to 2 times per visit with a 4-hour interval between meals.

The Season Pass Drink Plan is an add-on for Season Pass holders and is $34.99 plus taxes and fees. It includes free refills on soda, lemonade, iced tea, Boysenberry punch, and Powerade all season long.

The All Season Souvenir Bottle is $34.99 plus taxes and fees and allows guests to get free refills during the season by bringing their souvenir bottle to the refill stations throughout the park.

Does Knott's Berry Farm sell alcohol?

Yes! Certain locations in Knott's Berry Farm sell alcoholic beverages, including the Calico Saloon, Ghost Town Grill, and Pemmican Pickle. Special alcoholic drinks are also sometimes available during festivals and the holiday season.

Can you bring your own food into Knott's Berry Farm?

Knott's Berry Farm does not allow outside food, snacks, or drinks into the park. However, they do allow unopened or empty water bottles, baby food, and food for guests with special dietary restrictions.

Can you bring your own water bottles Knott's Berry Farm?

Knott's Berry Farm does allow you to bring water bottles into the park. They will even refill the bottles for you with both water and ice if you ask them at any food stands that offer fountain drinks.

Knott's Berry Farm has a very lenient stroller policy. Guests may bring their own strollers or rent a single or double stroller at the stroller rental station in the park. Wagons that are used as strollers are also allowed in the park.

Does Knott's Berry Farm have a stroller rental?

Yes! Knott's Berry Farm provides single and double stroller rentals from $21 to $25 each plus taxes and fees. Rental reservations can be made online beforehand or on the day of your trip if there are any avaialble.

The rental station is located in Ghost Town, next to the Geode Shop.

How many rides are available for younger kids at Knott's Berry Farm?

Knott's Berry Farm has a plethora of delightful rides for younger kids at the park. Camp Snoopy is the main section of the park dedicated to kid rides and the beloved Peanuts characters.

Kids 36" or taller can ride every ride in Camp Snoopy, although they'll need an accompanying adult on some of them. There are also many rides throughout the park with no height requirement so long as an adult is present to attend to kids.
